ACDC – Romania
Project Coordinator

ACDC Romania is a professional association and training provider established in 2011, to support the sustainability of 255 disadvantaged rural communities, which have previously received technical assistance under the Knowledge Economy Project (KEP), funded by World Bank during 2007-2011, to develop local Telecentres/ Public Points of Access to Internet (PAPI) providing ICT based services to citizens. The mission of the association is to promote community development through consulting activities in the field of key domains for sustainable development.

Since its inception, ACDC Romania was involved in international partnerships promoting the concept of social inclusion.  Increasing attention has been paid, in recent years, to e-inclusion policies at European level, as the main prerequisite for development, active citizenship, social inclusion and employability.

ACDC has developed a network of partners within the field of social and professional insertion, schools, libraries including e-centres ruled by municipalities in rural areas providing social inclusion training and consulting services.

KAINOTOMIA – Greece

“KAINOTOMIA” is a Lifelong Learning Centre (K.D.V.M) in Greece, which is active in the field of Vocational Education and Training. KAINOTOMIA has implemented more than 60 continuing vocational training programmes for unemployed people, teachers of all levels of education, higher education students, employees/self-employed and vulnerable social groups, for the development of professional opportunities and their promotion and integration into the labour market and society in general, through innovative programmes. “KAINOTOMIA” provides consultancy services to enterprises and support and advisory services to trainees to facilitate their (re)entry into the labour market. “KAINOTOMIA” has participated in several national projects, offering a high degree of expertise in training in modern fields, combining them with those that are in high demand in the labour market in order to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes of trainees for their integration into the labour market. Furthermore, “KAINOTOMIA” participates in co-funded national programmes called “local development and entrepreneurship projects for unemployed people based on specific local needs and development potential.

Union - Ukraine

“Union for the Development of Education and Science” is a non-government organisation, founded in 2019, based in Dnipro (Ukraine). It works in close cooperation with public and private entities, actively participating in quality-of-life improvement activities.  The organisation mainly focuses on organising training courses, seminars and workshops (both online and offline) for young people, youth leaders and educators of Dnipropetrovsk region (especially from its rural parts),internally displaced persons (IDPs) or living in/nearby the frontline area to enhance their continuing professional development.

The aims include promoting lifelong learning opportunities; encouraging social integration, media education for sustainable development, social entrepreneurship and digital literacy; improving distance education and media-information competence of youth and adults; supporting active citizenship and sustainable development of regional and local communities; developing an integrated information and educational space of Dnipropetrovsk region, etc. The team of the Union have a special concern for children, teenagers and young adults with less privileged access to information, due to their geographical location, their social and economic status or their personal situation. Thus, “Union for the Development of Education and Science” has been involved in urban areas and setting up local projects in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

CENTRUM WSPIERANIA EDUKACJI I PRZEDSIEBIORCZOSCI - Poland

Centre For Education And Entrepreneurship Support (CWEP) is a non-governmental organisation founded in 2004 by a group of entrepreneurs, teachers and social activists from Rzeszow, Poland. CWEP cooperates with businesses and educational institutions. The mission of CWEP is to increase the quality of education training at all levels and in all its forms, as well as to promote entrepreneurship in order to foster integration of any social group, regardless of their gender, age or ethnic origin. Particularly, the aims are to improve accessibility, quality and efficiency of education of all people, to promote and contribute to adult education, life-long learning, e-learning and the usage of new technologies in education and entrepreneurship. The Association works with many partners from Europe in order to strengthen the economic position of enterprises and provides on-line platforms for companies.
